Collusion of the high and mighty with their subordinates to cheat people out of their rights. Sometimes this seems all pervasive. Pakistan’s Largest Mangroves Forest Threatened by Zulfikarabad Project – NGO Members of IUCN Pakistan National Committee

IUCN Pakistan National Committee Members during meetingA meeting of the IUCN Pakistan National Committee Members was convened in Islamabad on July 24, 2015.

The NGO Members expressed their concern over the recent news item in the media on directives by the higher government authorities for expediting work on the Zulfikarabad city project. The members noted that Pakistan’s largest mangroves reserves along the Thatta coast were at risk due to the Zulfikarabad Project.
