Rural Aid conducted educational session on importance and plantation of fruit trees with small farmers in Trail village under Go Green Campaign. The main objective of Go Green Campaign to reduce the climate impacts, improve livelihood, health and wellbeing by plantation of fruit trees through trained rural women, youth and small farmers.
Rural Aid is building climate friendly & resilient communities to plant, protect and promote trees for people, restore and conserve nature, livelihood and ecosystem resilience. The Rural Aid’s Go Green Campaign contributing its strategic plan 2022-2027 strategic theme-3 “Reduce vulnerability to natural disasters, food insecurity and climate change” and strategic objective “climate change adaptation” and “strengthening of food security mechanisms”, and SDG 1 (no poverty), SDG 3 (good health and well-being), SDG 5 (gender equality) and SDG 13 (climate actions).
