Rural Aid Pakistan conducted events “Promoting Gender Equality and Women’s Wellbeing for Sustainable Development” at International Women Day 2024 under the theme Invest in women: Accelerate progress. At the International Women Day, Rural Aid distributed and planted fruit trees through trained rural women under Rural Aid’s Go Green Campaign.
Rural Aid is promoting gender equality & rights protection, development, empowerment, wellbeing and inclusion of women through development and advocacy initiatives. Rural Aid is building climate friendly & resilient communities to plant, protect and promote trees for people, restore and conserve nature, livelihood and ecosystem resilience. The main objective of Go Green Campaign to reduce the climate impacts, improve livelihood, health and wellbeing by plantation of fruit trees through trained rural women, youth and small farmers.
