Institute of Rural Management (IRM) is one of the largest capacity building facilities in the not-for-profit sector in Pakistan and works in over 100 districts. It is committed to build the capacities of rural communities and empower them to harness their true human, social and economic potential for an improved quality of life. Conducting up to 500 different types of training with an annual turnout of over 50,000 trainees, IRM runs various training programmes in the fields of Social Mobilization, Entrepreneurship and Value Chain, Education (technical and vocational as well as primary and higher education), Health, Environment and Natural Resource Management, Gender and Management Development, with a special focus on capacity building through skills enhancement.
In the last two decades, IRM has built the capacity of more than 1 million people.
