A well known and reputable Non-Government Organization looking for a dynamic candidate for the position of Manager / Assistant Manager – Environment, Climate Change and Livelihood. It is a Karachi based position that covers outreach activities in Singh & Balochistan Region.
Main Responsibilities
He / She will be responsible:
- To assist SG in taking forward its programme on environment, climate change and livelihoods
- To manage on-going projects/program activities dealing with natural resource management and sustainable development.
- To plan, design and conduct qualitative and quantitative social science research (research on environmental issues with a gender perspective is preferred)
- To integrate gender/women’s right into environmental concerns, policies and programmes.
- To conduct workshops and organize seminars & awareness sessions on environmental issues and climate change
Preferred Qualification
- Master’s degree in Development Studies or Environmental Sciences from a recognized university with at least 3-5 years experience.
- Should have strong communication, documentation and report writing skills in English and Urdu both.
